Hello I’m Amy. I’m a thirty something feminine nerd mama from Buckinghamshire. My heart will always be in my home county, Essex. I miss being by the sea!

Welcome to my blog Life on Cloud Nine. There isn’t an awful lot that I am not interested in, though mostly casually. I’m a nerd so I lean towards focussing my leisure time on films, TV, computer games, music and reading. I’m a daydreamer. I attempt to be creative with card making, bullet journalling and learning to play bass. Home decor, getting organised and inspiration with my style may be something that I talk about a lot. I have ADHD so I tend to flit between things, my symptoms have gotten worse since having my daughter.

I have Microscopic Colitis which can be difficult to deal with. I need to be mindful of what I put on and in my body. It also makes me more of a homebody than I was already.

I’m a devoted mama, wife, grand/daughter, sister and friend although my parenthood, tiredness and physical distance often get in the way of actually spending time with people, for that I apologise to my loved ones. My heart is chasing you!

I used to try to go through life with positivity and excitement, I’m trying to get back to that. I like to think of myself as friendly and polite as a good Hufflepuff should be!
