March 2016 Updates

Hello, it’s a nice sunny day here, mostly! When I was walking during lunch time the sun was out and it was rather warm walking around in it. Not hot enough to stay out without a coat, but the almost spring cheerful warmth.

I’m so looking forward to spring this year. Although I love all the seasons and the change with them, since December when the temperature dropped to winter standard, I haven’t liked it! It’s not like I’m one of those people who have winter blues, I find England rather pretty in winter and I have always liked rainy days inside, including gloomy grey skies. Not that it’s anything to do with it but I used to be an Overcast Kid too, this is Fall Out Boy’s fan club. You know my favourite band…

I’m sitting here with a slice of Victoria sponge cake (not mine) and a cup of Tetley’s tea. The latter are a brand that I’m really enjoying at the moment. In the past when it came to tea I wasn’t really fussy as to the brand, but I have found that as I’ve got older and have worked for a couple of companies, I can tell the difference between brands of tea. At home we have weak teas generally, Sainsbury’s Own or Red Label, I think

they’re weak anyway. I also have tried Tetley’s Redbush with vanilla, mostly because I wanted to avoid caffeine, as well as avoiding black tea for a while (there are also health benefits with redbush tea, but I admit this wasn’t the main reason for buying). I love vanilla, so I guessed that I would enjoy the flavour in tea, I was right. However, I read a review on amazon about Tetley’s Redbush Vanilla tea, they stated that not all the ingredients on the packet are fully explained. A bit wary I decided to try another brand, to be honest I don’t really like their tea. So I have switched back. Enough ramblings on about tea!

I should probably say that I have been spoilt recently with the sun, as I travelled to Australia in February; which is their summer time. We went out into the Outback semi desert and oh my the heat! Most people would shy away from the heat but being the cold morsel that I am I actually loved it! I was more concerned about the creepy crawlies crawling around! Though the most dangerous spider there funny enough is in the woodland area around Sydney, go figure. I have been wondering whether I should post on the internet anywhere about my adventures as I don’t want to boast or to seem like I am showing off. I appreciate that I have been lucky and I also want to share parts of my life.

It has been such a long time since I have written a blog post, sorry about that, I actually wrote a Christmas one in December and didn’t get round to posting it. I guess I’ll save it for next year. I still have a long list of subjects to talk about, like I mentioned in a post last year. I have some new interests which is always nice. Life is about transformation in my opinion. There are also areas of my life that I’m neglecting or am not doing so much anymore, the main ones being gaming and reading.
Have fun.
